EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based treatment that uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tapping) and is effective at reprocessing trauma and distressing life events. EMDR offers a reduction in the vividness and emotion of that memory and allows for integration of positive belief statements. EMDR offers natural restoration and adaptive resolutions to life's triggering events, offering individuals improved cognition and emotional regulation. I have been impressed time and time again at the insights and breakthroughs I have witnessed while using EMDR and love having this tool to use with clients.

IFS
Trauma can lead to a fragmented sense of self, where different aspects of a person's personality, emotions, and memories become compartmentalized as a way to cope with overwhelming experiences. These fragmented parts are not inherently negative but rather represent survival strategies developed during trauma. We see many “parts” show up in therapy especially during trauma work. Internal Family Systems (IFS), or parts work, is an evidence-based treatment approach that acknowledges these parts can be in conflict, but they also have the potential to collaborate under the guidance of the core Self. IFS therapy aims to understand and heal these parts, fostering inner harmony and balance. IFS is effective when used alone or integrated into EMDR reprocessing work.

Trauma-Focused CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment modality that works by identifying maladaptive thinking patterns and challenging/reframing beliefs to improve overall wellbeing and functioning of the individual. Trauma-Focused CBT helps you understand how past experiences shape your thoughts, emotions, and reactions today. This approach is especially helpful for reducing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, self-blame, and overwhelming emotions that come from past traumatic experiences.

Polyvagal Theory
Polyvagal Theory helps us understand how the nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection. It explains why you may suddenly shut down, feel anxious, go numb, become overwhelmed, and why these reactions are not your fault. They’re automatic survival responses. In therapy, we use polyvagal-informed tools to gently help your body feel safer, expand your window of tolerance, and support you in moving from survival mode into a grounded, regulated state where healing is possible.

Attachment Therapy
Attachment trauma happens when our early relationships didn’t feel consistently safe, attuned, or emotionally supportive. These experiences shape how we connect, trust, and respond in relationships as adults, often creating patterns like anxiety, avoidance, over-giving, or shutting down when things feel too close.
In therapy, we explore these patterns with compassion, helping you repair old wounds, learn secure ways of relating, and build relationships that feel stable, connected, and aligned. -

Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body.
Trauma is stored not only in memories but also in physical sensations, tension, and automatic survival responses. Through gentle body-based practices, like breathwork, grounding, movement, and nervous system awareness, somatic therapy helps you release what the body has been holding, calm your system, and feel more present, grounded, and safe.

Nutritional & Integrative Medicine for Mental Health
Our bodies are designed to help us heal. Your mind and body are deeply connected - what you eat, how you sleep, and the way your body functions can all impact your mood and mental well-being. Integrative medicine explores simple, science-based changes to support your mental health, like nourishing foods, supplements, or mind-body practices such as breathwork, visualization meditations, and conversations about lifestyle, sleep, exercise, and more. This approach can complement therapy, helping you feel more balanced, energized, and resilient. I’ve completed advanced training in nutritional and integrative medicine for mental health and have seen firsthand the difference that natural health practices can make when integrated into therapy. It’s in our best interest to support the body with what it needs so it can help us process trauma more effectively.

Subconscious Repatterning
Subconscious Repatterning uses subliminal recordings that include affirmations spoken at a volume just below conscious hearing. This allows your subconscious mind to absorb the messages naturally, helping them take root and grow over time. When appropriate, I offer the option to co-create personalized subliminal recordings designed to gently reinforce the new core beliefs we cultivate in therapy. Each affirmation is carefully crafted to feel authentic, safe, and aligned with your healing goals, supporting the process of rewiring old subconscious patterns. Many clients find that using subliminal audios helps them internalize and embody empowering beliefs, creating space for deeper integration and a more grounded connection to their emerging reality.

Clinical Hypnosis coming soon...
Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you access the subconscious mind. In this state, the mind is more flexible and can process information, emotions, and beliefs in a new way. You are always aware and able to stop at any time. Hypnosis can support trauma healing, anxiety reduction, emotional regulation, habit change, and integration of new, healthier core beliefs.
